I want to love you like 2016, being able to

Talk in emojis that only we understand

I want to love you like 2016

Like Negan loves Lucille,

Like a teenager loves his phone

I want to love you like a new pair

Of Nike shoes, and

How a camper loves snipers

I want to be your Glenn to my Maggie,

Your Abraham to my Rosita(don’t forget Sasha and Holly)

I want to love you like a boy loves gamestop,

Like Glenn loves his dumpster

I want to love you like 2016<3

2016 Love

How could we agree to separation?

Now my dreams are downing down another road.

You made my days depressing like a cloudy storm.

You made me want to look like Rihanna,

But now you made me think as if you were Drake.

Or Selena, and you were Justin.

Now all we can do is stalk each other's instagram,

And watch each othe'rs snapchat stories

To see if you found another.

All the nights I stayed up late for you

And when we met in halls and said hi,

But then end up running to the next class.

All of these memories ruined,

With the thought of you.

Now we drifted apart (like otters)

Time to see other people.

I fell for you knowing

We would never be more than friends.

Now we're just strangers passing casually.

Something, somehow, somewhere,

Went wrong…….
